About Yell

We've been connecting buyers and sellers for 50 years

1966. The year England won the World Cup. And the year the first Yellow Pages was printed, in Brighton.

2017 and we’re still going strong. We’ve made it our mission to help businesses find and connect with customers. As you can imagine, we’ve seen (and often led) some big changes in the way businesses market themselves, not least of which is the internet.

Today, we’re still the experts in bringing local buyers and sellers together. Except now we’re doing it digitally - in fact, we’re one of the biggest providers of digital marketing services in the UK. Offering a personal service tailored for you and your business, we’re all about getting you proven results. Meet our senior management team

Richard Hanscott

Chief Executive Officer

Richard joined Yell in 2011 and has led the business to become a leading provider of marketing services to SMEs in the UK. He has extensive knowledge of the IT & telecoms sectors, and building successful consumer and B2B organisations. Before joining Yell, Richard worked in senior roles at businesses including NEC, Orange & Hewlett Packard.

David Burns

Chief Technology Officer

David is the Chief Technology Officer for Yell in the UK, with responsibility for driving the digital and technology agenda, he is a strong advocate for the adoption of new technologies and has a passion for identifying new ways in which the experience of Yell customers can be enhanced. Before Yell, David worked for a number of consultative and IT deliver organisations.

Dee Malone

Telesales Director

Dee joined Yell’s telesales team in 2005 with success in a variety of roles. As Telesales Director he is responsible for transforming the telesales team into a high performing team providing expert, trusted support and advice to SMEs on all aspects of Yell’s digital marketing solutions. Before Yell Dee gained extensive B2B telesales experience in the tech and financial services industries.

Fiona Marechal

Change Director

Fiona is responsible for Yell's extensive programme of change. She has over 25 years of management experience in a variety of roles from Technology to Marketing, with extensive expertise in leading the delivery of multi-functional programmes. Fiona holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Maths with Physics from the University of Southampton.

Jim Brinkley

Field Sales Director

Jim joined Yell in 2000, with an initial focus on key accounts. As Field Sales Director Jim is responsible for transforming our field sales into the UK’s ‘best in class’ team of digital solutions advisors, trusted by businesses to manage their online presence. Jim’s early career was at ICI developing partnerships with Europe’s largest Motor Manufacturers and Insurers.

Mark Clisby

Marketing Director

Mark has been with Yell for over 10 years and is currently leading the transformation of the Yell brand to be recognised as one of the largest digital brands in the UK. Passionate about delivering great customer experience, he is also an industry expert in using insight and data to truly engage customers at every interaction.

Nikki Jacobi

People Director

Nikki is HR Director at Yell looking after our people strategy. Her team looks after hiring and training as well as ensuring we continue to make Yell a great place to work. Nikki has worked in HR for over 15 years and is CIPD qualified at the most senior level. She has an MBA from Henley and is currently studying for a Diploma in Digital Leadership.

Oliver Wilson

Chief Financial Officer

Oliver is responsible for all financial aspects of the company, including developing the financial strategy at Yell. Since 2003, Oliver has held a number of key financial roles at both Yell and its parent company, Hibu Group Ltd, most recently as Group Financial Controller. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.

Paul Manwaring

UK Chief Legal Counsel

Paul is responsible for developing the legal strategy for and providing ownership of all legal and regulatory matters in the UK.  Prior to joining Yell in 2009 Paul spent time working in Royal Mail’s legal team as well as working for law firms.  He trained and worked at Beachcrofts in London as a solicitor in the commercial team.

Stuart Cummings

Operations Director

Stuart joined Yell in 1999 and has gained diverse experience across functions including Technology, Marketing and Change Management. As Operations Director he is responsible for all aspects of digital marketing production and service support. Stuart is passionate about the end-to-end experience Yell provides its customers.
