How to add your free listing on Yell.com
Hi I’m Richard, product manager at Yell. I’m going to show you how quick and easy it is to get your business listed for free on Yell.com, the UK’s No.1 business directory*. So – let’s get started.
To start, simply click on the ‘Get a free listing’ link at the top of the Yell.com homepage. You can click this on any of the search results pages, or you can just go direct to yell.com/free-listing/.
Enter your details
So this is the page to enter all your details. You just need to enter your business name and address. So let’s start with the postcode; then look at the address, that then populates all the details. You then need to enter your business name and your phone number. Next is your website address. Next, put in a keyword that broadly describes what your business does, and the services you provide. We’ll then give you a list of classifications to choose from. Getting you listed on the site accurately will ensure we put you in front of your customers searching for the services you offer.
Let us know whether you are a new business or not. And then just tell us a few more details about yourself, including your email. This is to ensure you are the authorised person to advertise your business, so there is a tick box here to confirm this, plus a link to the privacy policy and the terms & conditions. Providing your email address is important as we will send you an email to confirm your details are correct.
Check and submit your listing
Then, click on Sign Up, check your details, and then Confirm and Publish. This page now confirms that your details been sent, we will then send you a confirmation email of this, and your listing will appear on Yell.com soon.
