Each week, we throw a spotlight on a top Facebook page that deserves a big thumbs up. Pages featured here are making the most of what Facebook has to offer and can be held up as examples to learn from if you are a business looking to get to grips with the social network.

This week’s Star Facebook Page of the Week goes to Kiddi Caru Day Nurseries – committed to providing outstanding childcare solutions to suit the needs of busy parents.
Why we think it’s great:
- Kiddi Caru makes use of a welcome page – so any new visitors who have not yet hit the like button will be greeted by this. It’s a good one too, because it explains that when the company reaches certain like ‘milestones’, such as gaining 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 fans, it will make a donation to charity World Vision.
- The ‘info’ section has been filled out, so there are links to the Kiddi Caru website, an email address and telephone number.
- The people behind the page make sure it is updated regularly, which really gives a visitor confidence that this is a vibrant and interesting page worth following.
- But here’s the dealbreaker – as often as possible Kiddi Caru updates parents on activities going on at the nurseries, and these updates feature fab pictures too. So parents get a real insight into what’s happening day to day. This can be useful for prospective customers also, as anyone researching Kiddi Caru can get a flavour of what goes on through the Facebook page. A top example of a business looking at Facebook and seeing how it can work for it.
